I thought I would share some recent award-winning photographs from the international photography contest at the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (AG WPJA.com).Chris Moseley AGWPJA1 The WPJA is a tough group to join. Only 5% of applicants are accepted for membership.

The Artistic Guild of the WPJA is an even more elite group. According to the [AG]WPJA, its “members are international wedding photojournalists, who excel both in creating outstanding images through a documentary approach

, and in the art of post-production processing of wedding photographs. In a nutshell, [AG]WPJA photographers take great candid pictures, enhance them using the technology available, and deliver museum-quality images from your wedding day

.

There are only 8 photographers in Texas who have qualified for membership in the AG WPJA and I’m proud to be included. HINT: If you like artistic wedding photography, hire a ”certified” photographer who is a member of the Artistic Guild of the WPJA (www.agwpja.com).

WPJA members from all over the world submit images and the competition is fierce! I hope you enjoy these photographs that were selected in the recent contest.
