We’re excited to share another award-winning photograph with you. Photographers from all over the world compete in the prestigious contests held by the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association [AG]WPJA.
CHRIS MOSELEY PHOTOGRAPHY (www.chrismoseley.com) is pleased to announce it has been selected as a 2008 Pick for The Knot Best of Weddings magazine,
Brides magazine asked members of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) to enter their work in their first-ever photo contest. The entries were first screened by WPJA (a Pulitizer-prize winning panel of photojournalists and photo editors) and then sent to the Brides photo editors, who selected the winning images.
According to Brides, “Pictures were divided up into 10 categories, […]
I thought I would share some recent award-winning photographs from the international photography contest at the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (AG WPJA.com).
The WPJA is a tough group to join. Only 5% of applicants are accepted for membership.
The Artistic Guild of the WPJA is an even more elite group. According to the [AG]WPJA, its “members are international wedding photojournalists, who excel both in creating outstanding images through a documentary approach, and in the art of post-production processing of wedding photographs. In a nutshell, [AG]WPJA photographers take great candid pictures, enhance them using the technology available, and deliver museum-quality images from your wedding day.
There are only 8 photographers in Texas who have qualified for membership in the AG WPJA and I’m proud to be included. HINT: If you like artistic wedding photography, hire a ”certified” photographer who is a member of the Artistic Guild of the WPJA (www.agwpja.com).
WPJA members from all over the world submit images and the competition is fierce! I hope you enjoy these photographs that were selected in the recent contest.

I’m excited that six of my photographs are included in a show at a contemporary art gallery in Austin.
