Jaime & Jon were married in Austin recently and I wanted to share a few photos from the wedding day. Both Texas-exes, Jamie & Jon had their beautiful wedding ceremony at University Christian Church, right on the UT campus. Their fabulous reception was at Barton Creek Country Club.
Notables at the reception: hip lounge area, Jon […]

We Shoot Kids!
I get asked a lot if I photograph kids. The answer is, “Of course! We Shoot Kids.” Well, we photograph kids, babies, newborns, toddlers, pets. I’ll post some more kids photos at www.chrismoseley.com but you can see some more right now at www.moseleyworld.com.

Brides magazine asked members of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) to enter their work in their first-ever photo contest. The entries were first screened by WPJA (a Pulitizer-prize winning panel of photojournalists and photo editors) and then sent to the Brides photo editors, who selected the winning images.
According to Brides, “Pictures were divided up into 10 categories, […]
Jaime & Kyle Portrait
I always enjoy making couples portraits. It give me a great opportunity to get to know my clients better…and it helps get them used to having a camera in their face - prepping them for the big day! I took these photos of Jaime & Kyle at the studio. Big Steelers fans, they had fun being […]
I thought I would share some recent award-winning photographs from the international photography contest at the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (AG WPJA.com).
The WPJA is a tough group to join. Only 5% of applicants are accepted for membership.
The Artistic Guild of the WPJA is an even more elite group. According to the [AG]WPJA, its “members are international wedding photojournalists, who excel both in creating outstanding images through a documentary approach, and in the art of post-production processing of wedding photographs. In a nutshell, [AG]WPJA photographers take great candid pictures, enhance them using the technology available, and deliver museum-quality images from your wedding day.
There are only 8 photographers in Texas who have qualified for membership in the AG WPJA and I’m proud to be included. HINT: If you like artistic wedding photography, hire a ”certified” photographer who is a member of the Artistic Guild of the WPJA (www.agwpja.com).
WPJA members from all over the world submit images and the competition is fierce! I hope you enjoy these photographs that were selected in the recent contest.

2nd Place - Ceremony. Taking a deep breath before walking down the aisle.
From the wedding of www.charlotteandsean.com in San Antonio.

18th Place - Getting Ready. IMHO, should have placed much higher
I was going for an old-world, vintage look. Like a bride on the set of the film Casablanca. More photos from this wedding at www.omalleywedding.com.
