The Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) just released their list of the Top 100 Wedding Photojournalists internationally and we are excited to be included. Only a handful of the Top 100 photographers are from Texas - so we’re flattered.
The WPJA says about its members, “What sets our members apart in the industry is their candid, documentary approach – a distinctly artistic vision toward wedding photography.”
Here’s a Top 10 award-winner in the category “Weather” from the recent WPJA international contest:
JUDGES COMMENTS: Good, different interpretation which speaks to energy behind the lens and an ability to see the not so obvious. Good postcard or reminder of the day for the couple in the church, getting married on a rainy day. The repetition of the circular elements of the scene doesn’t hurt either.
