The New York Times reports today’s wedding dress fashion has “brides flouting convention by flaunting their curves. More vamp than virgin, many are selecting gowns that bare a generous expanse of cleavage, midsection, lower back or thigh, temptress styles that may be better suited to a gala or boudoir than to a church or ballroom.”

In the recent story titled “The Bride Wore Very Little ,” the NYTimes reports, ”The inspiration for wedding gowns is often borrowed straight from the red carpet. Think hot. Think photo op.”

Since many US fashion styles and trends originate in New York, I thought you might like a preview of what might be coming your way in the area of bridal gowns. Here are three of the “vampy” gowns:
